Yeah, Hitchens is a tricky case. At the very least I’d call him a “thinker” if not a true philosopher (how much of a difference is that?) If I did bump him off the list, I’m not sure who would take his place. I probably end up moving everyone else up one slot and then put someone else at #5, below Hegel. I don’t know Anselm well enough to compare him to Aquinas, either.
